Obituary for Irene Eunice Cooper (Meloche)
Iron Mountain – Irene E. Cooper, 82, of Niagara, Wisc. passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Maryhill Manor Nursing Home, Niagara, Wisc.
Irene was born November 3, 1934, in Bark River, Mich. daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Leisner) Meloche. She grew up and attended school in Bark River, Mich. She married Jack Cooper on July 9, 1955. He preceded her in death in 1997. They resided in Hardwood for many years. Irene enjoyed gardening and especially the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by one daughter Connie (Boyd) Bailey, Kingsford, Mich. and one sister Carol Rudden, Escanaba, Mich.
In addition to her parents, and husband Jack, Irene was preceded in death by two daughters Doreen and Iris Cooper.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Nancy Reese, Pastoral Director at Maryhill Manor, will officiate. Burial will be in Foster City Cemetery, Foster City, Mich.
