Obituary for Panzy F. "Faye" Richter (Swim)

Panzy F. "Faye"  Richter (Swim)
Panzy F. “Faye” Richter, 84, of Alpha, Mich., passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at her home.

She was born September 25, 1932 in White Lake, Wis., daughter of the late William and Josephine (Ramey) Swim. Faye grew up and attended School in both White Lake, Wis. and Zion, Ill. On August 13, 1983 she was united in marriage to Larry Richter. She worked at Frank School in Kenosha, for 21 years. Faye served meals and was involved in the PTO and Girl Scouts. Her and Larry moved to Alpha in 2005.

Faye enjoyed sewing, crafts, flowers, gardening, fishing and camping, decorating for the holidays and hosting family gatherings; and every year she would bake for local fundraisers in Alpha. She was a big Chicago Bears and Jeff Gordon fan.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Richter, Alpha; two sons, Malcom and Lee Williams, both of Kenosha, Wis.; four daughters, Linda (Harry) Rasmussen, Iron River, Mich., Barbara (Tom) Bush, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Anita Williams, Kenosha, Wis. and Lisa Richter, Oconomowoc, Wis.; one brother, Bud “Oscar” (Kathy) Swim of Arkansas; three sisters, Myrtle Rich, Eagle River, Wis., Mildred Hall of Alabama and Barbara Bain of Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Langlade Cemetery.
