Adele M.  Kirschbaum (Kissmann)
Crystal Falls-Adele M. Kirschbaum, 91, of Crystal Falls, Mich., passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls.

She was born June 6, 1925 in Germany, daughter of the late Alexander and Marie (Steinke) Kissmann.

Adele grew up in Chicago. She was united in marriage to Herbert Kirschbaum. He preceded her in death in 1988.

Adele enjoyed gardening and playing cards and bingo with friends. She was also a quilter at the United Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children, Gertrud (Bruce) Spina of Illinois; Horst Kirschbaum of Michigan; Marika (Bruce Hawkinson) Kirschbaum of Wisconsin, and Christa (Gustav) Kawell of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, and her husband Herbert, Adele was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

A visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Laakko will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
