Obituary for Bonnie J. Hoskins (Rugg)

Bonnie J. Hoskins, 73, of Pembine, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.

She was born August 7, 1941, in Escanaba, Mich., daughter of the late Edward Alsteens and Iola LaMay.

Bonnie grew up in Norway and graduated from Norway High School. She resided in Cunard, Mich. Bonnie married Michael Hoskins on July 2, 1988, in Melbourne, Fla. They resided in Florida, and in 1990, relocated to the Iron Mountain and Aurora, Wis. area. In 2006, they made Pembine their home.

She enjoyed making puzzles, baking, cooking, drinking coffee, spending time with her family and most of all helping people. Bonnie was a very caring and giving person.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Michael; four sons, Roger (Teri) Faccio, Aurora, Wis., Todd (Barb Blazier) Faccio, Iron Mountain, Michael Faccio, Beecher, Wis., and Jonathon Osieczonek, Pembine; one daughter, Mary Beth (Bob Boettcher) Lasee, Hyde, Mich.; one brother, Eddie Alsteens; two sisters, Joanne Gendron, Norway and Marlyn (Joe) Sandy, Greenland, Mich.; one sister-in-law, Lyle Rugg, Niagara; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Faccio; one daughter, Melissa Faccio and four brothers, Earl Rugg, Sr., Bob Rugg, Donald Rugg, and George Rugg.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Danielson will officiate.
