About Perry Jacobs & Denise Jacobs

Perry Jacobs

Perry Jacobs was born and raised in Iron Mountain and started working in the funeral business at age 14 and continued through high school.  It was during that time that he discovered that he wanted to become a funeral director.  Perry graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1985.

While growing up Perry was very involved in sports.  He started ski jumping at the age of 2 1/2 years old.  At the age of 15 he was the Jr. National Ski Jumping Champion. In addition to ski jumping Perry's loves were baseball and football.  He played:  Little League, Babe Ruth, Legion and for the Felch Rangers in the adult Wishigan League.  In football he was a kicker, guard and linebacker.  He was named U.P. Kicker of the year for 2 years.  After high school he went to Northern Michigan University where he studied Pre-Mortuary Science and played Div. II Football.  In 1987 Perry graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Mortuary Science.

It was Perry's life-long dream to become a Funeral Director.  His mission is to help families who are going through a most difficult time take a few steps back toward a normal lifestyle, with compassion and integrity--the way he would want someone to treat his loved ones.

Perry has always been very passionate about everything he does.  When he sets out to do something he works his very hardest to do the absolute best job possible.

Over the years, Perry has been involved in many community organizations, he's a life-long member of Immaculate Conception Church where he severed on the Fully-Alive in '95 Council, he has been especially active in supporting all the local veteran's organizations.  He has also enjoyed coaching little league and youth football.
